Aeroflot and GTLK started creating an electronic digital database of operational and technical documentation for aircraft and helicopters in Russia

As noted by Alexander Vrublevsky, Managing Director for Customer Relations at GTLK, TLC, as the owner of primarily a helicopter fleet of over 120 aircraft, sees the need for an early translation into "digital" of all operational and technical documentation for aircraft, which by June 2023 is stored in paper form.

At the moment, in case of loss of such documents or lack of access to them due to force majeure circumstances, they practically cannot be restored. Everyone will benefit from the presence of digital passports for aircraft and an electronic base: lessors and airlines that will receive confirmed and transparent information about the work carried out and the condition of the aircraft, service companies that will be able to plan their work and prepare the appropriate capacities, regulators that will receive a full real-time picture of the state of the fleet of aircraft in the country, - said Vrublevsky.

The use of electronic documentation for aircraft is a common world practice. So the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus created a digital platform for the exchange and analysis of Skywise data. By June 2023, more than 10.5 thousand aircraft of 150 operators were connected to it.[1]
