Project-oriented workflow

promis • e works in the project, allowing to connect among themselves a huge number of drawings, to check them regarding errors and to create reports. The changes made in one part of the project automatically are displayed in all its other parts.

The accelerated design

Thanks to the built-in libraries of characters, macroes, a possibility of copying and an insert of promis • e noticeably increases design speed. Automatic assignment of position designations to devices on schemes, automatic creation of cross-references in real time, automatic numbering of wires and search of errors is supported. As well as it is necessary to the product applied in the different countries, promis • e uses standard formats of the IEC and ANSI-IEEE pages. Libraries of characters are available to the electric ANSI and IEC applications, to hydraulic, pneumatic schemes and also control circuits technology processes.

Check regarding errors

In development process of drawings of promis • e informs the user on possible errors. It reduces the number of necessary "manual" checks, increases the accuracy of drawings and saves from the subsequent expensive corrections. Short circuit, break of a chain, duplication of position designations of devices, duplication of wire numbers, lack of the code of a product, lack of cross-references and excess pin assignment belong to errors which the program indicates (for example, purpose of the fifth contact for the four-contact relay).

The integrated database

The database included in structure of promis • e, allows to connect among themselves graphic elements on schemes, mounting plates, specifications, etc. that significantly simplifies design process. Base where information of many leading manufacturers of the equipment contains, you can fill up as required with own information and also import the equipment and its characteristics from the AutoPLANT program.

Automatic formation of documentation

The database is connected with schemes that allows to create automatically the specification of the equipment and materials, the custom specification, drawings of mounting plates, blocks of communication clips, mounting tables and schemes. Thanks to the fact that documentation is generated on the basis of drawings and other system information the quantity of errors decreases, and any changes are at once displayed in reports.

Working as the annex to xxAutoCAD]] or MicroStation, promis • e provides to users an opportunity to work in well familiar environment, at the same time providing access to a powerful set of additional functions for electrotechnical design. There is also an autonomous version of the program.
