2025: Russian Army Supplies
At the end of December 2025, Uraldronzavod began supplying the Berdysh heavy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to the Russian army. These drones can be used for a variety of tasks, including mining the area from the air.
Berdysh received a modular design: its configuration can be changed depending on the operation being performed. In particular, the drone is capable of staging anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, dumping powerful land mines and transporting goods. The drone is suitable for delivering ammunition, provisions and water to the front line. In addition, the device can inflict fire damage from the Bumblebee jet infantry flamethrower or the Hook RPG-30. The carrying capacity of the Berdysh is 20 kg, the flight range is 25 km.
As the general director of Uraldronzavod Vladimir Tkachuk said, the drone passed comprehensive field tests, during which no failures were recorded for 100 sorties. For operators, retraining is provided, since control of Berdysh requires different piloting skills than when working with kamikaze drones.
| The situation is now such that logistics on cars or even lightly armored vehicles is almost impossible - the combat zone is isolated by kamikaze drones, so heavy drones are the only way out, "says Tkachuk, quoted by TASS. |
Uraldronzavod was founded in the Sverdlovsk region by the creators of the FPV drone Ghoul. The device is designed to strike the enemy in the depths of the front, including to suppress the delivery of ammunition and the destruction of armored vehicles in closed positions. With the help of this drone, the Russian military destroy landing boats, enemy fortifications, dugouts and strongholds.[1]
