2011

More than 200 Billmaster-based projects have been completed

In 2011, Inline Telecom Solutions celebrates a decade of its Billmaster billing system. The Billmaster billing system was a commercial response to the increasing demand for billing services from telecom operators. The first version of "Billmaster" was released to the market in 2001.

Inline Telecom Solutions has completed more than 200 projects to implement and modernize the Bill Master billing system. Our projects were implemented in 7 different countries among companies that provide Internet access and telephony services for more than 20 million subscribers.

At the moment, we are focused on expanding the functionality of the Billmaster system to fully meet the needs of the market. Bill-master is expanding its WiMax and LTE technology toolkit. The bilmaster will soon provide another innovation - "intelligent" charging through the use of DPI (Deep Packaging Inspection) technology. The system for managing heterogeneous equipment within a single network through the Billmaster system is also being expanded and simplified.

The Bill Master, along with our customers, survived the change in the generation of network technologies - from Dial-up to WiMax and DPI. It allows us to be confident that Billmaster is evolving and keeping pace with the times. After all, it is innovations and timely improvements that are the key to the company's effectiveness in a dynamically developing market.

Bill Master 8.0

Inline Telecom Solutions introduced the Bill-Master billing system version 8.0 in October 2011. In the new version of the Bilmaster system, the functionality has been significantly expanded and a number of new features have been added. The system was refined, which increased its versatility and flexibility in tuning.

The following functional solutions were implemented in the new version of the Billmaster system:

  • Support for IPv6 protocol (RFC 3162) has been implemented;
  • The system of "Bonus points" has been introduced, which allows you to implement marketing strategies of various complexity. Bonus management is available through the web interface. Accrual is possible both in mass and in private. Also implemented support for such shares as "First month free";
  • You have entered the Service Package feature. The operator can now create packages of various services on a single subscriber board;
  • The possibility of centralized and mass information distribution to subscribers by e-mail and SMS has been added. The subscriber, in turn, can subscribe to SMS mailing through the "Personal Account";
  • Compared to version 7.5, the functionality associated with the cashier's work has been significantly expanded. Now the system carries out many more operations, greatly facilitating the work of the cashier;
  • It is possible to quickly change the tariff plan through the Billmaster interface. When the tariff is changed, the subscriber fee is recalculated automatically. Also, a change in the tariff plan can be assigned to a certain number;
  • The functionality of temporary suspension of services has been expanded. In the new version of Billmaster, you can edit the end date of the lock, indicate what time later this function will be available to the subscriber again, and so on;
  • The ability to establish a "personal" coefficient for the subscription fee;
  • It is possible to restrict the list of tariff plans available for switching through the "Personal Account" (for individual subscribers and for groups of subscribers);
  • A system has been introduced to notify subscribers about the lack of funds for debiting the subscription fee;
  • Added the ability to write off funds "in minus" and monitor debt;
  • Added a "filter" of tariff plans according to the criteria specified by the operator;
  • The functionality of the mass billing system has been redesigned and expanded. In particular, the system now tracks overdue accounts itself;
  • The functionality of the "Personal Account" has been significantly expanded: viewing financial documents, ordering a blocking of services, canceling a change in the tariff plan, subscribing to newsletters, managing "bonuses." Also added sections "News" and "Shares."
