2019: Start of service
At the end of December, 2019 Microsoft began to pay users for online purchases through the search system Bing. The new service a cache-beka received the name Bing Rebates.
In 2008 Microsoft announced Live Search Cashback service which was based on the Jellyfish.com project which was earlier absorbed by the American corporation. After Bing rebranding the Jellyfish.com service became the Bing Cashback program. Using this Microsoft service paid buyers for the purchases made through Bing search engine. The plan of Microsoft was in helping advertisers to attract consumers using interesting offers and to provide the new type of shopping capable to affect a consumer customer behavior and to attract new users in Bing. However due to the lack of interest from consumers, Microsoft stopped work of keshbek-service in 2010.
In many respects it was the excellent initiative - we had more than one thousand trading partners who offered clients excellent offers and saw an investment payback within the campaigns, and we took a part of income from advertizing and returned it to clients. But there passed several years, and we did not see growth of audience which was expected to receive therefore the program stopped the existence, - the representative of Microsoft Yusuf Mehdi explained. |
However at the end of December, 2019 Microsoft returned similar a cashback program under the name Bing Rebates. Its users will receive a discount in a type a cache-bekayu when they make purchases from the retail sellers provided on Bing service. For return of a part of the amount Microsoft will use PayPal payment system - money is quickly enlisted, it is necessary only that the seller confirmed purchase. Microsoft Bing provides discounts for own products and services via Microsoft Store and also cooperates with popular retailers, such as NewEgg and Lego.[1]
