BlueCat DNS Edge integrates a cloud platform of analytics and management with the protection points which are referred to as with DNS gateways. DNS gateways are virtual services which can work at different platforms, including in the form of the virtual machine provided to BlueCat.
The solution is used by activity of DNS queries and analyzes the risk level based on a set of factors. The analysis allows to define whether there corresponds potential action to the allowed level of risk. If action exceeds a risk threshold, the activity is blocked and the message about an incident is created.
