ProxyAV is the powerful anti-virus device. However for September 23, 2014 it is driven out of the market by more new protective solution Blue Coat - Content Analysis System (CAS). In particular, the traffic passing through it can be scanned not by one, and at once two anti-virus engines from three available (certainly if the user is ready to pay for two licenses and also to reconcile to 30% decline in production of the gateway inevitable at double scanning of traffic).

Within the CAS the module Kaspersky Whitelisting — the solution of Kaspersky Lab for verification of the passing executable files and scripts on "white list" is implemented what allows how to save time and not to check obviously reliable files, and if desired the owner to implement the Default Deny mode, i.e. to prohibit the admission of any files, except entering "white list".

Those files on which a system cannot make the decision about (without) danger can be blocked or redirected to "a virtual sandbox" — one more element of a security system Blue Coat.
