We tried to design the interface of the program so that you had no excess headache during the work. Thanks to the new interface you will spend less time for accomplishment of the main transactions. Now all necessary settings can be changed directly on the homepage.

What is a book profile?

A set of the transactions made by you over the book can be saved in the program as its profile. When you scan other book of similar quality and with similar characteristics, you will not need to set these settings again. The program includes also the preset profiles for the main types of books (including for old books). At scanning project implementation the manager can create a profile of books for operators.

Cut off images as you want

Why it is necessary?

In version 5 of setup of cutting were exposed only for all array of pages. If any pages were warped, the settings set by default were applied to them. The damaged pages had to be processed separately.

Now this problem is solved. In comparison with the previous version it became simpler to execute cutting transaction. You can set a uniform method of cutting for all pages or for each page separately.

In the previous version process of cutting was organized so difficult that it had to be performed in several stages.

In the new version the necessary result can be received for one session. Pages which parameters of cutting differ from the others are mentioned by a checkbox. You can apply these parameters both to the following, and to all other pages. Sketches allow to browse what settings of cutting are set for all pages of the project.

Thanks to function of selection of area you will be able precisely to define the field of cutting and to see expected result on the big screen.

Simplicity of settings

You need to set scanning settings only for the first couple of pages — and they will be applied automatically to all other pages that allows to carry out batch processing without problems. Load any number of books or their parts — and start processing transaction. After a while it will be successfully complete.

Advanced instrument of export

Export the scanned images to different formats: in one-page and multipage tiff-files, in PDF or VPDF/A - the format conforming to ISO 19005-1 and ideal for long-term archive storage.

There is no activation — there are no problems

The program does not require activation. Using one usb-key, it is possible to install it on several computers.

Removal of a background

How to get rid of the yellowish shade so characteristic of pages of old books? Using Book Drive Editor it is possible to remove a yellow background and spots from old books. Old pages thanks to processing will receive new life.

Transfer to a black-and-white format

Sometimes happens it is necessary that the images received at the exit were black-and-white. BookDrive Editor transfers each pixel to a black-and-white format, analyzing at the same time information of the next pixels. The high image quality at the exit is so reached.
