Testing of bullion

On March 16, 2017 the Atos company announced achievement by the bullion servers of high values of performance based on the international reference test of Standard Performance Evaluation Cooperative (SPEC) non-profit organization.

According to results of testing, the bullion servers on the basis of architecture of x86 (in a configuration with 16 sockets) are the powerful systems on indicators of speed of work and amount of memory.

As a part of the bullion systems:

• up to 24 TB memories for applications on the basis of Big Data, calculations in RAM and real time, for example, using the SAP HANA system.
• decrease in total cost of ownership by large lakes of data and the virtualized clusters. Decrease reaches 35% when implementing projects on consolidation of databases.

We very much are proud of work indicators which showed our systems. Experience of Bull in the field of creation of the most advanced technologies appeared at the level again. Computing power of bullion and large volume of RAM do these servers productive and support our aspiration to become leaders in the field of Big Data and SAP HANA. The servers bullion, bullion S equipped with Intel Xeon processors (E7v4 family) with 384 cores and maintaining 4 TB RAM, showed peak capacity at the level of 14100 – 13600 according to test results of SPECInt_rate2006.

2016: Certification of SAP

On November 17, 2016 the Atos company announced certification of the bullion S16 server for work with the SAP HANA databases and became one of three vendors certified by SAP for servers with an amount of memory more than 8 TB.

Certification of SAP will increase competitiveness of a brand. It became continuation of long-term partnership of Bull and SAP. The Bull brand appeared in Russia in March, 2016.
