Business Together as a Service is the tool for the organization of a working space and joint work.

The Russian office Orange Business Services agreed with Microsoft about sale of business software of the developer from own capacities.

It is about receiving by clients Orange of set of three programs in which enter the Exchange Server 2010 mail server, the SharePoint Server 2010 corporate portal and software for the organization of communication into Lync Server 2010 companies (with an exit to public telephone networks). This combined service received the name Business Together, it is possible to purchase it from the operator since March, 2012.

According to the head of directorate of development of products and services of Orange Alexey Sobkevich, cost will be separately discussed with each specific client, but customers from the sphere of small and medium business can be guided by the price of 300 rub for each employee monthly. In case of big corporate customers as Sobkevich speaks, everything is solved individually.

Data of the client after migration on remote servers will be stored depending on arrangements or in the Moscow data center of Orange on Andropov Avenue, or in DPCs of the Russian partners of operator. Access to software can be organized as on own channels of the operator (the VPN channel will be configured), and on public service networks. The directory of users of the Active Directory can remain with the customer or also migrate to the operator. At this Orange consciously did not begin to be registered as a personal data operator in Roskomnadzor.

In addition to migration from the existing systems, technical support and updating of the listed software on the servers, the staff of operator is ready to be engaged in personnel training of the customer. In case of contract cancelation the return data transfer from own capacities of Orange also undertakes, Sobkevich says.

Within two years the operator is going to reach sales level 50 thousand mailboxes annually. Sobkevich recognizes that the small companies use free boxes more often. It considers advantage of the paid product over them, for example, lack of contextual advertisements.

2014

On December 17, 2014 the Orange Business Services company announced the beginning of providing in the territory of Russia of service of unified communications from "cloud" - Business Together as a Service (B2GaaS).

Product - for the organization of a working space and joint work. Remote access to the solution from any place in the world and from any device is provided to users. The service is unrolled on the basis of several data centers of Orange, including DPCs in Frankfurt, Atlanta and Singapore. Business Together as a Service operates on the Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution platform.

Business Together as a Service provides to the staff of the companies new effective instruments of work. In addition to basic telephony, means for joint work enter functionality of the solution:

• instant messages,
• system of presence,
• audio-, web video conferences and others.

Employees can use the solution where they would not be also from any device, including tablets and smartphones. Among obvious advantages of this service — an opportunity to pay only for the necessary number of users and the used applications, lack of capital costs and additional investments into expansion of internal resources. Access to the platform is provided through the protected IP VPN channel that guarantees security of information.

On the Orange portal of the company can select one of five preset profiles, and, for example, change the number of end users or their setup. It gives additional flexibility and allows to open quickly new offices, to integrate recently acquired companies and to react quickly to the changing business needs.
