2024: Product Announcement
Russia In created the world's first antivirus that does not need updates. It's about development. Penza State University The university told about her in mid-May 2024.
According to project manager Daniil Mishin, the antivirus includes a neural network that is written in Python. This neural network analyzes the behavior of software on a computer and determines whether there are malware on it. If the antivirus detects that some software is spontaneously copied to various folders on the computer, then it is classified as a virus and its spread is suppressed.
To more accurately identify malware, a combination of two analysis methods is used: neural network and neural signaling. Neural network analysis is based on machine learning, in which the intelligent system is initially trained to recognize patterns of malware behavior, such as Trojan viruses.
Neurosignature analysis is a synthesis of traditional methods of detecting malicious software and the capabilities of artificial intelligence. According to the developers, creating malicious files that do not contain elements of their predecessors is a rather difficult task. Therefore, AI continuously analyzes the behavior of such software, which allows you to effectively defend against new threats.
At the moment, we have a version of the program for Windows ready. It is able to detect such malicious software as Trojan viruses (which penetrate into PCs under the guise of legitimate software), rootkits (software that collects personal data) and software that illegally uses computer resources, Mishin told Izvestia (the article was published on May 15, 2024).[1] |
