CENSOR-SNMP-Agent (TsENSOR)

The developer and producer of the Hardware-software complex "TsENSOR" – the Russian solution for monitoring and management on communication networks – NPTs Ltd Computer Technologies offers the Clients a set of software tools for bilateral integration of TsENSOR agrarian and industrial Complex with other monitoring systems and managements of the leading global and domestic manufacturers based on the open SNMP protocol.

The program CENSOR-SNMP-Agent adapter is the universal application which is working on servers running operating systems Windows and Linux, not demanding from them additional system resources. "CENSOR-SNMP-Agent" provides converting of protocols of TsENSOR agrarian and industrial Complex in SNMP. Thus, the SNMP manager used by the Client can "communicate" with the equipment of TsENSOR agrarian and industrial Complex of all types and all generations as in the direction of data collection, i.e. processing of the Trap SNMP commands, and in the direction of transfer of the commands "Get", "Walk", etc. The application is installed once in any user-friendly place, and contacts locally or far off on network the acting SNMP manager, works in the background imperceptibly for the User and third-party applications. The SNMP v.1 and v.2 protocols, in the near future – SNMP v.3 are supported.

In addition to software of "CENSOR-Monitoring" the module "CENSOR-SNMP-Manager" which provides joining of the equipment of third-party producers supporting the SNMP protocol with the software of TsENSOR agrarian and industrial Complex is developed. At the same time support of SNMP is bilateral, i.e. sending SNMP-Get and processing of SNMP-Trap is performed. As well as in the previous case, "CENSOR-SNMP-Manager" supports SNMP v.1 and v.2, and future and v.3. The module "CENSOR-SNMP-Manager" is delivered separately and is program service of poll of the devices on SNMP working in the background along with regular services of poll of TsENSOR devices, devices of UPS, etc. entering the basic CENSOR-Monitoring software package. Thus, software of "CENSOR-Monitoring" with in addition installed module "CENSOR-SNMP-Manager" turns in the real full-fledged SNMP manager capable to work with the equipment of any global and domestic manufacturers.
