СTI Communication Assistant V3.0.32.0
The solution allows to use the IP-ATC functions for processing of calls using a user-friendly interface on the PC. Communication Assistant also check of the status of colleagues helps to facilitate and optimize work at office thanks to such opportunities as, for example, management of a voice mailbox from the computer.
Communication Assistant is the multifunction software which allows users to receive and process calls and also to manage many other services IP-ATS Panasonic by means of a user-friendly and clear interface. CA gives an opportunity to check the status of the subscriber (is taken/is free), to dial number from a system directory or the personal contact list, to exchange text messages (Chat function) and to manage a voice mailbox. Using the application each user can independently change the status in a system, include readdressing or the mode "not disturb". Besides, it is possible to browse quickly history of the entering and outgoing calls and to save it in the separate file. At the same time the computer information on the addressee, duration and time of a conversation is displayed and it is noted whether the call was processed.
For the first time CTI the Communication Assistant application was submitted in the spring of this year and was during this time recognized clients of Panasonic the convenient and functional solution for joint and effective work of staff of the company. In December, 2010 the company provided upgraded version of the application which considerably expanded its opportunities. The main changes concerned the procedure of the organization of conferences, both 32-sided, and 8-sided, and network capabilities of the application. Now to add and exclude interlocutors and also to manage a conference, it is possible using a user-friendly interface. For creation of a conference it is enough to drag numbers of necessary subscribers from a window of contacts in a window of management of a conference. At the same time about 8 people, including the organizer can participate in a conversation.
Communication Assistant supports work with IP cameras therefore at a call on the screen it is possible to see the interlocutor. The module Voice Mail Assistant will allow users to manage messages in own box of voice mail with a possibility of listening and sending by e-mail from the PC. Thanks to the special toolbar for MS Outlook it is also possible to call from an email client of MS Outlook, using the contacts which are already available there.
Server part of Communication Assistant is built already in the IP PBX of Panasonic of the TDE and NCP series. In this case the application supports work of 128 subscribers, each of which will be able to use all opportunities of CA. To increase the number of subscribers to 256 it is necessary to connect to network the server with Communication Assistant set on it. The exact number of the users who are at the same time working in a system depends on characteristics of the equipment and its performance.
In the new version of Communication Assistant network capabilities applications are improved during the work with the external server. When installing the server it will be possible to connect up to 4 automatic telephone exchanges to it and to get access to all subscribers to networks. In the Contacts window at the same time in separate tabs there will be lists of the extensions connected to automatic telephone exchange network.
The Communication Assistant application works in four different modes, depending on required functionality:
- Communication Assistant Basic-Express is the free subscriber application with limited functionality for call management with the PC. Only the companies having the status of "Panasonic automatic telephone exchange Technical Center" have potential to provide free client activation keys on 128 Basic-Express of subscribers
- Communication Assistant Pro is the full-function subscriber application for call management with the PC, display online of the status of the subscriber, the augmented list of contacts and history of calls.
- Communication Assistant Supervisor is monitoring and maintaining statistics of work of group of subscribers (Call the center). Advanced functionality of management of group of subscribers.
- Communication Assistant Operator Console is receiving by detailed information on all internal and the external circuits connected to automatic telephone exchange. Accessibility and managements of settings of subscribers, for example readdressing.
