2020: MaaS service representation
On February 18, 2020 system integrator CTI announced development of service of CTI MaaS for complex monitoring of operability of infrastructure and services.
MaaS (Monitoring as a service) is the software package allowing to obtain information on events from a set of sources and to build causes and effect relationships on the basis of the acquired information.
The service of CTI MaaS allows to keep track in real time of working capacity telecommunication and the customer's IT infrastructures, quickly to react to any emergency situations and incidents. Within service the pro-active monitoring notifying on the probability of approach of a critical event is carried out. It gives the chance to prevent an emergency situation before its approach.
The feature of the offer of CTI consists in formation and control of SLA on availability of IT services of the customer. The percent of availability is selected by the customer, and the CTI MaaS system monitors his execution. The monitoring purpose from the point of view of the supplier of service is not the analysis of quality of service as such, and ensuring satisfaction of users with this service.
A system creates a common information space on working capacity and availability of IT services of the customer, automates an incident management process based on ITSM and analyzes the saved-up state-of-health data of the equipment, software and communication channels. Further creation of reports on events on a condition of equipment on the basis of operational and historical data gives the chance to build behavior models of systems on the future.
The solution has ready adapters for integration with the monitoring systems which are already implemented at the customer that reduces time and implementation cost. Data collection of monitoring is made using standard protocols of status monitoring and collection of information.
CTI MaaS obtains information from different components of infrastructure of the Customer in independence of their functionality or producer. It gives the chance to construct logical relationships between the events which took place in different functional units of the IT system of the customer.
The notification of experts of CTI and the client's employees about the events which took place in a system happens in the automatic mode and is available in different channels (the SMS, Telegram, email, phone).
Depending on corporate the politician and technical capabilities of the client the service is unrolled locally or in a cloud.
In the market a set of solutions which give the chance to perform monitoring of IT. However most of them are local systems which need to be purchased, implemented, trained personnel and to accompany. CTI offers service which does not require capital costs, accumulates in everything itself listed. Therefore it is so demanded by clients who are interested in the high level of security of the IT systems.
