In May, 2019 the French fashion house Louis Vuitton provided a ladies' handbag with the built-in flexible display. The presentation took place on an action of Cruise 2020 in New York.
The bag belongs to a product line of Canvas of the Future which is developed by Louis Vuitton to show how technologies can be integrated with usual things. The creative director of Louis Vuitton Nicolas Ghesquière became the author of innovation.
The screen sewed in a handbag is executed on AMOLED technology (an active matrix on the basis of organic LEDs) and has enough high resolution capability — 1920 x 1440 pixels (diagonal is not specified).
