2024: Launching
In September 2024, a new freezing fishing trawler "Captain Yunak" was launched in St. Petersburg - one of the most modern fishing vessels in the world, characterized by high ecology and safety. The vessel is part of the ST-192 project, under which ten trawlers have been built at the Admiralty shipyards since 2017. "Captain Unak" became the fifth in this series.
Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Patrushev spoke at the trawler descent ceremony. According to him, this vessel has no analogues in terms of technical characteristics among fishing vessels of its class. It is equipped with a system for deep processing of catch directly on board, which ensures waste-free production. In addition, Captain Unak is equipped with all the necessary systems for the comfortable stay of the crew on the ship, which is an important aspect for modern working conditions at sea.
The next stage for the trawler is the final cycle of work, testing and going to sea. The godmother of the vessel was First Deputy Minister of Finance of Russia Irina Okladnikova, which emphasizes the importance of the project for the Russian economy. After the completion of all work, Captain Unak is expected to join its series and begin fishing in the Far Eastern Basin.
The company has already handed over to the customer four vessels of this series - "Captain Vdovichenko," "Mechanic Maslak," "Mechanic Sizov" and "Captain Martynov." All these vessels successfully operate in fisheries in the waters of the Far East and are leaders in fishing and processing seafood, including the market's popular surimi, which is produced directly on board.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the ST-192 project is a significant contribution to the modernization of the Russian fishing fleet. Modern equipment and advanced technologies make it possible to improve the efficiency of the field and improve the quality of products. Trawlers are equipped with systems for the production of various types of fish products, including fillet, caviar and fish flour, which helps to meet the needs of not only the domestic market, but also export supplies.[1]
