2019: Inclusion of Cisco AI Network Analytics and multidomain integrated solutions in Cisco DNA Advantage

On June 13, 2019 the Cisco company announced that Cisco AI Network Analytics will be included as a standard component into the solution Cisco DNA Assurance with availability in the next version of Cisco DNA Center. Cisco AI Network Analytics at the same time joins in a license packet of Cisco DNA Advantage.

At the same time, the next version of Cisco DNA Center will include multidomain integrated solutions which will also be included in a license packet of Cisco DNA Advantage.

According to developers, the next version of Cisco DNA Center will become available in the summer of 2019.

The Cisco company offered on June 10, 2018 development tools and open interfaces of application programming (API) for Cisco DNA Center.

DNA Center turns network of a set of the equipment into a single system. And having received the Cisco API interfaces existing on all network in the order, developers will be able easily to program such system, using all analytical and information resources which are provided by network, claim in the company.

Thanks to a wide variety of the API interfaces the platform of DNA Center gives to customers the chance to protect the business and to supply it with information.

  • Thanks to the API interfaces of the platform of DNA Center developers will be able to program network as a unit. Now it will be simpler to them to create the applications of new generation considering parameters of network (network-aware applications), and partners will be able to integrate network into business processes.

DevNet DNA Developer Center

The Cisco company during the Cisco Live conference which was taking place from June 10 to June 14, 2018 provided a number of initiatives of the developers of community DevNet aimed at the development of the innovation ecosystem of the company. Among them — DevNet DNA Developer Center.

The initiative represents online store for application developers and integrators on the platform of DNA Center. Developers will find various resources, functions, options of implementation and the training materials here.

As of June 18, DevNet DNA Developer Center is already available to use.

Announcement of Cisco DNA Center Assurance

In February, 2018 for campus and branch networks the solution Cisco DNA Center Assurance which thanks to advanced methods of the analysis and ensuring transparency of network condition considerably reduces time and means spent by IT departments for fault detection in the wired and wireless networks is presented.

In campus and the Cisco branch networks uses each network device to quality of the sensor (everything as a sensor) and aggregates the analytical data obtained from network, applications, clients and objects for providing all completeness of a context to IT departments. Cisco DNA Center Assurance provides complete "circular" contextual overview of events in network with reflection of all time, physical and logical interrelations. The broad picture of the events at the level of users and applications can be received in real time, in historical perspective and in the form of the forecast. DNA Center Assurance helps IT departments to solve three main objectives:

• contain a problem, within several minutes (but not several days or weeks) to establish the failure reason by exact determination of a problem point;
• reconstruct a problem, obtain all information at that time in the past when failure was recorded and to receive the status of network, users, devices and applications at the time of emergence of problems;
• fix a problem in the preventive mode before its emergence, following recommendations.
