As a part of software for global networks of Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS), Cisco Application and Content Networking System (ACNS) and a set of the equipment Cisco WAAS access to the centralized applications (supporting the TCP protocol) is provided, to data, video for employees, as in the local area network, including such software products as: Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, IBM, EMC, NetApp.

Test drive in IT

The IT company announced in March, 2011 start of the marketing program "Test Drive of Cisco WAAS". Growth of data transfer rate is reached due to use of the modern technologies providing the effective data compression optimal uses of transport channels, competent distribution of a pool of tasks. Thus Cisco WAAS allows to achieve performance improvement of the business applications using data transmission and reduction of volume of traffic and consequently to achieve economy.

"Test drive of Cisco WAAS" is an offer free of charge to test in work the solution Cisco Wide Area Application Services on optimization of network traffic in the demonstration laboratory located at new office IT (Moscow, Leninskaya Sloboda 19 building 6). At the test stand visitors will see own eyes as there is an optimization of data networks of the distributed corporate business. On the demonstration course specialists of IT will explain the principle of work of the used technologies of optimization and will answer any questions.

Testing of the solution Cisco WaaS includes three stages:

• 1. From the workstation appeals to services on the server at the switched-off optimizers are made. Data of measurements are entered in the table. This experience shows work with the server through the WAN environment without optimization use.
• 2. Previously configured Cisco WAAS devices turn on and the appeal to the same services on the server is made. The data obtained by the same technique are entered in the table again. This experience shows result of work of technologies of optimization of TFO and LZ.
• 3. The previous stage repeats and data retrieveds are again entered in the table. As data already got to a cache of optimizers, there is a working off of all mechanisms of optimization: TFO+LZ+DRE.

It is held demonstrations for the most widespread protocols — http, ftp, pop3, smtp, windows share. If technical capabilities allow, the IT will hold also additional individual testing of protocols and applications of potential customers.
