The Citrix company announced in the summer of 2012 a new solution — Citrix CloudGateway 2 with the integrated MDX technology expanding a set of the mobile applications available based on Citrix CloudGateway 2. According to developers, it allows the enterprises to centralize management process, to ensure safety and to exercise control over applications under operating systems iOS, Android and HTML5 more than on 2 billion mobile devices.

In addition, the new CloudGateway technology is also integrated with the solution Citrix ShareFile allowing the staff of the company to work jointly with files and at the same time to synchronize them based on a cloud service. Thanks to these updates the CloudGateway technology provides to clients a single platform of management for mobile, Internet, SaaS - and Windows applications both on corporate, and on personal devices.

Citrix also announced the intentions to add MDX technology to the Citrix Ready program. It will allow developers and specialists of IT departments it is easy to approve already built-in mobile applications with the solution CloudGateway, consider in the company.

Citrix will continue development in the field of MDX technologies for providing clients and their employees with mobile solutions. Within these developments the company is going to provide the built-in application for work with corporate e-mail which will allow to read safely due to use of the MDX server and, if necessary, to delete the received messages. Besides, Citrix will improve MDX technology for control and detailed monitoring of all used mobile applications.
