Code of Security: Secret MDM

Secret MDM is technology for data protection on mobile devices and managements of corporate mobility.

On December 15, 2016 the Code of Security company announced product output of Secret MDM for management of corporate mobility and data protection on mobile devices.

According to the analytical research of corporate mobility conducted by the company, users insufficiently responsibly treat protection of the corporate data which are stored and transmitted using devices that does the mobile device vulnerable for malefactors. Nearly a half (48%) of managers save working information on devices, but at the same time on them security policies are not configured, and on every third mobile device the password on an input is not set. As a result malefactors can easily intercept information that will lead to loss of confidential data.

For the solution of these questions the management tool and protection of the mobile devices Secret MDM is created. The product helps to install on a centralized basis security policies on tens of thousands of devices and to control a status of their security. In case of theft or loss of the device the team of the administrator blocks it, deletes applications with data or completely destroys them. Secret MDM will help to find the smartphone or the tablet – will display its last coordinates.

Secret MDM supports mobile devices on the Android platform, iOS. In the absence of permanent connection with the MDM server of security policy continue to work.

We created Secret MDM, being guided by business need at the same time to provide protection and convenient mobile device management and applications which employees use for receiving corporate mail or connection to IT services. As a result it was succeeded to implement a product which is suitable for the organizations of different scale: for the small companies we have a service in "cloud", for large – support of control of tens of thousands of devices both according to the SaaS model, and by means of deployment of a product in own infrastructure is implemented. We consider Secret MDM as the platform for distribution of corporate services on mobile devices implemented in the protected execution. Among such services can be access to corporate resources, e-mail, the portal, SIP telephony, etc. In the future we see Secret MDM in the uniform concept with protection of workstations and we will implement it. "The code of security" provides the approach allowing to cope with a key problem of BYOD, to liquidate the main obstacle for use of corporate mobility is a mistrust of the user to turning on of the personal device in corporate environment. Application of Secret MDM solves this problem: on the one hand, we expand functionality of use of mobile devices for working tasks, with another - we give to an Enterprise-segment tools for the centralized monitoring and management, at the same time saving privacy of personal data of users.
