Columbus Connectivity Studio

Connectivity Studio is technology for integration of Microsoft Dynamics AX with other accounting systems, provides transfer and controlled data access, reducing labor input and speed of their processing.

The solution is included into a pool of the products Columbus Business Integration for Microsoft Dynamics AX.

• Data exchange and documents
  • Each table, each field value of Microsoft Dynamics AX can be changed. Nested tables or the connected (dependent) fields are edited due to setup/structure declaration of data or the whole document.

• Expert settings
  • Enhanced capabilities of integration simplify a data structure in Microsoft Dynamics AX.

• Business rules
  • Process of validation (check) of tables and the Microsoft Dynamics AX fields is started when importing data. If necessary additional processing rules of data can be configured.

• Data migration
  • Columbus Connectivity Studio gives enhanced capabilities for data transfer from different

sources, including the Microsoft SQL Server, Excel and other versions of a line of Microsoft Dynamics AX.

• Formats
  • CSV, flat files, ODBC, Excel, Word and XML files (with XSD and XSLT). The solution provides a possibility of setup of other user formats.

• Work with documents
  • Columbus Connectivity Studio supports different transaction types with documents, including their check, exchange and postprocessing. Standard opportunities for work with documents are also available: mailing by e-mail, compression, conversion, copying and movement, sending and receiving, etc.

• Connections
  • Technically integration can be implemented through the Microsoft Dynamics AX database, the file system (clip books), MSMQ, web services, e-mail or using ODBC.

• Project of integration
