IoT Gateway System PCB - the gateway to devices of Internet of Things - IoT.

On August 25, 2016 the congatec company provided IoT Gateway System PCB - the solution from a series of IoT-gateways.

The system of the IoT-gateway represents the ready, set-up solution which can be developed in the place of direct operation for short term.

IoT Gateway is capable to provide connection by means of the Mini PCI Express interface to eight wireless antennas. Six built-in USB interfaces which support connection of add-on wire and wireless modules are available. At the request of the customer non-standard configurations of the equipment can be made.

OEM manufacturing, using the system IoT-gateway of congatec company, receive the device which is previously configured, undergone certification with which connection of a broad spectrum of the most various sensors and systems to cloud services is available. Among possible scopes of application there are applications of technologies of industrial Internet of Things of IIoT (engl. IIoT - Industrial Internet of Things): smart cities, smart farms and peasant farm, smart home systems and vehicles, systems of Digital Signage (engl. digital signage system) and other IoT applications.

The big and quickly growing IoT-market rather well is serviced by the traditional built-in computer payments of congatec company and our products in the form of modules, but producers even more often demand that IoT-gateways were executed as a system completely ready for application. For satisfaction of this growing requirement, the congatec company developed very flexible customized lock system which can be optimized for satisfaction of the broadest spectrum of specific requirements of the most various applications. Development and production of the optimized IoT-solutions, the built-in systems and production services from congatec company include services in their certification. It is an important element of use of wireless technologies and peripheral devices which are connected to infrastructure of operator level.

For connection of wireless devices to IoT Gateway can be used:

• 6 internal ports USB
• 3 slots of miniPCIe with a connectivity of LTE 3GPP of modems,
• 2 x Wi-­Fi,
• 2 x LAN with support of PoE and the PROFINET functions,
• BlueTooth with low power consumption (BTLE)
• 6LoWPAN (англ. IPv6 over Low power Wireless Personal Area Networks).

Additional opportunities regarding the organization of global networks with low power consumption:

• Lora,
• 3GPP LTE,
• MTC,
• Sigfox
• UNB.

They can be built in at the request of the customer.

All this allows to provide support of the main requirements at connection of IoT-devices.

The body of the equipment is adapted for installation up to 8 antennas supporting in parallel several wireless standards at simultaneous quality improvement of a signal due to use of diversity antennas. The device is executed in the small metal outline package (200x230x40 mm) and certified on a class of protection of IP 53 for outside application.

Providing optimal with high capacity of the IoT-gateway, the congatec company developed a system for support of scalable performance of calculations using Qseven of modules which can vary from the one-nuclear NXP i.MX6 processor to the quad-core Intel processor Pentium CPU.

The gateway supports generation of the energy efficient Intel processors Atom (the code name "Apollo Lake").

Software of the built-in payments of congatec company supports basic operation systems, including Windows 10 IoT. IoT-Gate congatec supports all functions of a payment of the built-in controller - the compulsory provision for the applications requiring high reliability.
