For February 27, 2017 Coriant 7300 OLS is technology for consolidation of territorially remote data centers.
On February 27, 2017 the Coriant company provided technology for consolidation of territorially remote data centers according to the concept of Open Line System - Coriant 7300 Open Line System (OLS).
It supplements possibilities of a muksponder of Coriant Groove, providing stability of connection of data centers. Coriant 7300 OLS is optimized for installation together with open transponderny solutions as Coriant Groove G30, provides performance and stability of operation of applications.
For February 22, 2017 Coriant 7300 OLS in a phase of tests at customers. Performance measures of optical level of the Coriant hiT 7300 Multi-Haul Transport platform are raised according to requirements of data centers:
- compactness of the specialized chassis,
- support of power supply of alternating current
- frontal ventilation.
According to the statement of vendor, Coriant 7300 OLS helps to simplify management and control of infrastructure in network environments SDN/NFV due to use of Coriant Transcend SDN Transport Controller.
The product is created on the basis of optical transport and supports connection of territorially remote data centers. In its structure set of amplifiers for the maximum density, range and stability of transfer, algorithms of the data link layer for minimization of influence of noises, not uniformity and aging of fiber.
The flexibility, openness and stability become more and more important characteristics of backbone optical networks as dynamic and hyper scalable traffic flows between data centers require design approaches and disaggregated models of deployment of network. The Coriant 7300 OLS system combines performance of optical transport with the optimized functionality for data centers within open structure and improves performance of DCI in the relation trunk and ROADM-applications.
