2016: Announcement of technology
On March 20, 2016 Samsung Electronics announced creation of the first-ever technology of ultrasonic diagnostics (ultrasonography) which scans skeletal muscles of embryos and can identify deviations of future child till his birth.
New development under the name Crystal View was presented at an exhibition of the medical equipment KIMES 2016 (Seoul, on March 17-20). It was created by Samsung Electronics in cooperation with sisterly company Samsung Medison.
Through Crystal View doctors can conduct researches of a skeletal and muscular system of embryos, using the special diagnostic equipment developed in Samsung. The technology allows to control the state of health of germs in parts which could not be received before by means of other systems providing three-dimensional modeling of structure of an organism.
Crystal View provides detailed visualization of embryos which can show early symptoms of a disease of the child till his birth.
As of March 20, 2016 the announced technology waits for approval for commercial use from the relevant state bodies. Its implementation in work of medical institutions, according to developers, should begin at the end of March or the beginning of April, 2016.
Besides, Samsung Electronics is going to commercialize technology which will help to diagnose automatically the fabrics capable to cause different diseases, including cancer, on the basis of ultrasonography and automated design engineering systems. Feature of this development is that she is capable to analyze defeats of tissues of thyroid gland.[1]
