Custis (Castis) has expanded the capabilities of the key2SCM platform by automatically creating and selecting pairs of analogous materials using the "template" methodology and using an AI assistant. The company announced this on March 20, 2025.
This made it possible to significantly improve the process of selecting analogues of material and technical resources (M&E) from the reserves of industrial enterprises and reduce the time of technical specialists to search for them by up to 50%. At the same time, the number of item items for which the system automatically detects pairs of substitute materials increased by 40%. According to the results of pilot projects, the expanded functionality of the key2SCM platform made it possible to involve four times more materials and equipment in production processes in natural indicators. This was made possible by saving time for operations and standardizing them.
The use of the platform solves a number of key problems that are often faced by specialists in the logistics of production assets.
