CyberArk PIM Suite

The CyberArk PIM Suite software package ensures safety, management, control and monitoring of all actions connected with all types of exclusive accounts, such as Administrator in Windows, Root in Unix, Cisco Enable in Cisco devices and the administrative passwords coded in applications and scripts.

Exclusive passwords as well as data of audit on their use, should be protected according to standards in information security field and the recommendations of leading manufacturers. The product CyberArk PIM Suite uses the DigitalVault technology certified on compliance to the set requirements of ICSA Labs. This technology was developed with observance of strict requirements on information security in potentially unsafe environment. The digital storage is protected by the multilayer security system providing authentication, enciphering, data protection and reliable audit.

The packet of CyberArk PIM Suite includes three modules:

• Enterprise Password Vault (EPV) is storage of passwords which allows the organizations to protect, manage and to automatically change passwords, saving the magazine of all actions with all types of exclusive accounts. The module EPV has ample opportunities on integration and scalability for positive control of hundreds of thousands of servers, databases, network devices and applications;
• Application Identity Manager (AIM) - manages the accounts embedded in applications and scripts, the mandates and encryption keys intended for the organization of interaction between information systems. The module AIM excludes need of storage of authentication information for applications, scripts and files of a configuration, and allows to store, manage and book audit of actions with these extremely important data with use of the protected EPV storage;
• On-Demand Privileges Manager (OPM) - is intended for accomplishment of the tasks requiring administrative privileges in the protected and controlled environment. This solution allows to control and conduct monitoring of groups of superusers who can make actions within the appropriate rights and tasks facing them.

All modules of a packet CyberArk PIM Suite are implemented on a single software platform of CyberArk Shared Technology Platform. Its basis is formed by technology of digital storage Digital Vault and also a user-friendly interface of management and control of security policy of the exclusive accounts Master Policy which offers unique opportunities regarding automation of procedures of providing access for privileged users to corporate IT resources.

The product CyberArk PIM Suite can be complemented with the CyberArk PSM Suite complex which allows to control and monitor all actions of privileged users for the purpose of prevention of internal threats and losses of critical data. The CyberArk PSM Suite software package gives opportunities for access control to servers, databases and also virtual machines.
