DCLogic brings the Kandata platform to the market. The introduction of an IT solution will allow domestic industrial enterprises to increase operational efficiency by up to 15%. This can affect the increase in the life of the equipment, reduce downtime and increase in production volumes. The company announced this on September 25, 2024.

The IT product of Kandat is a software platform for the digitalization of technological and business processes of mining enterprises, as well as the management of a fleet of equipment in underground mines and mines. This dispatching platform reduces downtime and increases equipment productivity by 10-15%, and also increases ore production by 6-9%.

"Kandata" was fully developed in Russia and built on import-substituted architecture. It is independent of Western suppliers and uses both open source technologies and DCLogic's own developments. The product was registered in the register of Russian software and is available for use, including at CII facilities.

The platform consists of several functional modules, each of which solves specific problems in production. For example, the cargo flow control module monitors the transportation of goods, providing control over the movement of the rock mass. The Drilling and Blasting Operations Control Module helps in the creation of new mine workings, during cleaning operations, as well as generates certificates of drilling and blasting operations and monitors their implementation.

The system also includes a reporting and analytics module that collects data on the operation of equipment and generates reports on key indicators. This allows you to track the operating time of the equipment, record the duration and causes of downtime, take into account the completed scope of work, carry out a plan-factor analysis, as well as calculate various technical and operational indicators (TEI), such as equipment utilization factors (CRO), technical readiness (CTG), compliance with the directionality (SNS) and many others. These indicators make it possible to clearly assess the effectiveness of the fleet of equipment, individual machines, production areas, services, as well as specific drivers or operators.

The operational planning module helps to carry out short-term planning based on the results of a production shift in order to comply with the focus of work and achieve planned performance indicators, which in turn makes medium-term production plans (monthly, quarterly and annual) more achievable.

The quality management module performs the tasks of ore quality control and ore production sequence and distribution management at various stages, from work planning to shipment. As a result, this makes it possible to obtain a stable and predictable indicator of ore quality.

One of the key functions of the platform is to collect telemetry from technology. Onboard computers built into machines track real-time performance: the number of work cycles performed, the volume of drilling, and other important data. They are also equipped with various control systems, including weighing systems to control the volumes of ore mined and transported.

The telemetry module collects data on the actual operation of the equipment, as well as additional indicators such as tire pressure and fuel level. This allows companies to monitor the efficiency of the use of equipment and schedule maintenance in a timely manner.

The platform and its functionality can be adapted to the needs of a specific enterprise.
