DPC 3Data CK19

On April 5, 2018 the Legrand Group and the Russian network of data centers 3data provided results of the joint project – commercial monovendor DPC (Data processing center) equipped with the equipment Legrand. Data center of "CK19" – subject to the highest classification of the Digital Yard format.

The data center of "CK19" is in the center of old Moscow – on the Garden Ring, between Patriarchal ponds and Moscow Zoo. The arrangement in the historic center with dense building set a difficult task for engineers of Legrand – to place the difficult equipment in extremely limited space taking into account specifics of requirements to security and heat release.

For process optimization of installation and the subsequent service of DPC the decision to use the equipment from one producer – Legrand company was made. It allowed not only to accelerate process of transportation of the equipment and to reduce project cost, but also to increase efficiency of internal hardware communication.

The data center of "CK19" corresponds to the 3rd level of reliability – has a sufficient capacity and distribution potential in order that at load of one way (channel) there was an opportunity at the same time to perform service or testing of other way. Two independent lines of power supply reserved according to scheme N+1 submit on each rack 5.5 kW and more.

The continuity of processes in DPC is provided at the expense of the system of the uninterruptible power supply units (UPSU) powered from 2 independent inputs of power supply operating together with the automatic input of a reserve (AIR) for switching between inputs and the diesel generator set (DGS). Legrand UPSes of the Arhimod series have effectiveness ratio of 96%, and repeated reservation of internal components and system implementation of management multiply increase reliability of power supply of DPC. Cupboard precision conditioners and also application of the concept of cold and hot corridors guarantee effective cooling of a system. The end-to-end system of monitoring allows to exercise continuous control of all key parameters, automatically notifying on faults.

In addition to a video surveillance system the biometric system of access separated into three levels is integrated into a complex. Employees 3data, servicing a complex, and specialists of customer companies can get access.

The data center of "CK19" began work in the test mode in October, 2017. The location of data center in close proximity to potential customers will allow the numerous organizations, organizations and business centers to use services of DPC in a foreground mode. "CK19" will be able to ensure functioning of servers of several tens large companies located in the historic center of the city.
