DPC Knopp

DPC Knopp - the data center of Knopp company planned to start in 2016.

On May 18, 2015 it became known of plans of the companies Knopp and Combell on creation of DPC, the largest, according to their statements, in Russia^[1].

The Government of Moscow selected 500 million rubles for restructuring of the Bulgaria body occupying ^{the space of 14 thousand sq.m} in a technopolis. Additional 3 billion rubles are invested in creation of DPC by Knopp company.

Start of DPC in operation is planned for the first half of 2016. Partners are going to start project works in the fall of 2015.

The DPC provides creation of unique infrastructure for cloud services (by an example of iCloud). Services will be available not only to the large companies, but small and medium business. The DPC will be placed near a switching node – a point of exchange of internetwork traffic on which creation the Combell company works.

This data center will be near a switching node — a point of exchange of internetwork traffic which is created by Combell company.

Besides, Combell has the right to preferences of the Government of Moscow, including to tax benefits, including exemption from the property tax and lowering to 13.5 percent income tax rate which is enlisted in the budget of Moscow.
