The Data Processing Center (DPC) created by Kyrgyztelecom is presented on February 21, 2017 and used for the Safe City and Electronic Government projects.
With start of the Data Processing Center (DPC) of Kyrgyztelecom in the republic there will be an opportunity to deploy such services as the e-government and "The safe city". According to the press secretary of a state telecom, earlier in the country there was no suitable platform for implementation of these two programs.
As the initiator of creation of the Safe City project even in the summer of 2014 the cabinet of the republic acted. After a number of the held tenders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan in 2015 filed a lawsuit against Stilsoft Bishkek company which was a winner of competition for the reason that law enforcement agencies of the country did not agree with requirements imposed by the company.
As a result in September, 2016 the authorities solved development of service of a message step by step and within the state budget. So, the mayor's office of Bishkek selected 30 million som ($432 thousand – a comment[1]) for implementation of the program.
