2017: Certification of Uptime Institute Tier III

The DPC of DataPro Moscow 1 company underwent certification of Uptime Institute (UI) on the level of fault tolerance Tier III in category Operational Sustainability. During a certification process engineers of Uptime Institute together with engineers of DataPro carried out an inspection of all technology management of data center. Upon termination of the procedure of certification the technology platform was recognized the fault tolerance of Tier III which is completely corresponding to level, thus the DPC of DataPro Moscow 1 company has 3 certificates of UI Tier III in categories Design, Constructed Facility and Operational Sustainability now. 2015

For spring of 2015 of DPC on Aviamotor it is filled approximately for 30%: here 800 racks are placed already, 300-400 more will be added by the end of 2015. Among tenants only one company – Mail.Ru Group is called so far, but it is known that Internet giant not the only client of the data-center.

Certification of Uptime Institute Tier III

The DPC of DataPro Moscow 1 company underwent in the fall of 2015 certification of Uptime Institute (UI) on the level of fault tolerance Tier III in category Constructed Facility. During a certification process engineers of Uptime Institute together with engineers of DataPro executed more than twenty five tests. Testing was undergone by all engineering systems of DPC, including: power supply, cold supply and fuel supply system. Based on all tests the technology platform was recognized completely corresponding to the project solution which is also earlier confirmed with the certificate of Tier III Design from Uptime Institute. Besides, by specialists of UI high quality, the performed works on construction of DPC was mentioned.

Until the end of 2015 DataPro is going to begin process of receiving similar, on the level of reliability, the certificate of conformity of operational processes of the operating data center on operational stability (Operational Sustainability).

2014

In the summer of 2014 the flagman DPC of DataPro company located in Moscow on Aviamotornaya Street, is certified by Uptime Institute (UI) on the level of fault tolerance Tier III in category Design. An object is expected placement in total of 3000 server racks with installed capacity more than 20 MW.

"A priority of our company is provision of services of the DPC conforming to the highest international standards therefore certification of Uptime Institute is a logical step in development of the company. Until the end of the year we are going to begin process of obtaining the certificate, similar on level of reliability, in category Facility both on the Moscow DPC, and on our Tver platform. And in 2015 certification of all processes of operation of data center on operational stability (Operational Sustainability) will be carried out. Within preparation for this stage two employees of DataPro already successfully underwent certification of Accredited Tier Specialist" — Alexey Soldatov, the CEO of DataPro company reported.

The DPC of DataPro on Aviamotornaya Street will become the largest not only in the capital region, but also in all Eastern Europe. Its total area is 16000 sq.m. that allows to place 3000 racks. The DPC was constructed rapidly – construction works began in February, 2014, and until the end of August the first stage of DPC with a possibility of placement of 400 racks will be brought into operation. The second queue of the similar size will be ready by the end of October. Further step-by-step expansion of capacities in process of loading of DPC is planned.

2013

At the end of October, 2013 the DataPro company started construction of the data center, largest in Russia, which will be located in Moscow at the address Aviamotornaya Street, 69. The total area of the building of DPC will be 16,000 sq.m from which 7,500 sq.m is necessary on machine halls.

The Moscow DPC of DataPro is expected placement about 3,000 server racks with design capacity of electricity consumption counting on one rack from 7 kW. The company is going to put into operation the first 400 with firmness - places in the summer of 2014, the second queue also from 400 is resistant - places will be ready in the 4th quarter 2014.

Under construction of DPC of DataPro purchased the building in which were located office, a warehouse and the center of training of Renault company earlier. The installation of building block system of cooling, largest in Europe, based on EcoBreeze will become one of distinctive features of new DPC. In total 26 modules with a refrigerating capacity of 400 kW everyone will be installed. Uninterrupted power supply should be provided for account 20 of dynamic Hitec UPSes; power of each machine will be 1,336 kW. Design annual average value of coefficient of energy efficiency of PUE should not exceed 1.3.

"The EcoBreeze system is based on the principle of ambient cooling — Alexander Anosov, the director of the department of integration of solutions of division of IT Business of Schneider Electric company explains. — Freecooling is performed without podmes of fresh air, by means of adiabatic cooling of heat exchangers. In those DPCs where such systems function, the PUE parameter shows the values, best in the industry. Considering that prices of electricity tend to growth, in the cities with high electricity rates EcoBreeze just has no competitors".

In December, 2013 the DataPro company brought the DPC with a power of 4.5 MW in Tver expected 400 racks into commercial operation. The third site, in the next Moscow area which should be constructed from a zero cycle will become the following object after the Moscow data center on Aviamotornaya Street. This object will be also expected approximately 2,500 racks. Installed capacity of this DPC will be about 20 MW.

The equipment of the first stage is delivered to the building site in the spring of 2014: three DIBP Hitec on 1670 kW everyone, two frames of the EcoBreeze cooling system of production Schneider Electric on 4 modules, refrigerating capacity are 50 kW. Installation of dynamic uninterruptible power supply units will begin in the nearest future, the total quantity of DIBP will make 20 pieces. To the middle of April also refrigerators which will be installed on support frames of a roof of the building will be mounted. In total the project provides 26 modules with a refrigerating capacity of 400 kW everyone.

The Moscow DPC of DataPro will conform completely to the international standards of level of reliability of TIER III on classification of Uptime Institute and upon completion of construction will become one of the most large-scale technology platforms in the territory of Russia. On predesigns, the annual average value of coefficient of energy efficiency of PUE on an object should not exceed 1.3.
