2023: Product Announcement

On November 1, 2023, DarioHealth announced its new development, a blood sugar meter connected to the iPhone 15. The launch is timed to coincide with the month of diabetes in the United States.

The kit includes a glucometer, pieces of paper to take the material for analysis and a needle for a small injection to draw blood. The connection is via a USB Type-C connector designed to charge the phone. The connection provides instant communication between devices and allows you to track data in real time. Now the glucometer from Dario works on both iOS and Android. Also, an application on a smartphone can track changes in sugar levels and, if necessary, send warning notifications to the user.

Dario continues to outpace trends and invent new things. Our new blood sugar tracker for the iPhone 15 is another example of our rapid response to the needs of our customers, said Rick Anderson, president of the company.

DarioHealth develops digital healthcare solutions. Their goal is to improve the condition of patients in the fight against chronic diseases, including diabetes mellitus. In addition, the company develops products for patients with hypertension, overweight, muscle pain and mental health problems.

The market for smart devices for people with diabetes continues to grow. By 2023, it is estimated at $21.8 billion, and by 2030 it may have a value of $33.4 billion.

Diabetes is a widespread disease. In total, there are about half a billion diabetics in the world. According to the International Diabetes Federation, the number of diabetes patients will increase by 25% by 2030, and by 51% by 2045.^[1]
