The Dell corporation announced on August 2, 2013 availability of means of start of a cloud of Project Sputnik Cloud Launcher and the tool to work with profiles.
Project Sputnik is the platform integrating a cloud environment and a client system. It is created especially for developers and consists of three components:
- means of start of a cloud,
- the tool for work with profiles
- the XPS ultrabook 13 Developer Editions based on Ubuntu OS.
The tool for work with profiles provides access to library of the profiles created by such communities as Ruby and JavaScript on the website for a hosting and joint project development of GitHub. Means also helps to configure and to develop quickly Wednesday and to work with chains of data. The solution for loading of "cloud" is created by transparent connection of a client system to "cloud" to provide convenient application development for a cloud environment.
