In the summer of 2013 the Department of Logistics company started the beta of the system for automatic planning of delivery routes of loads based on cloud computing. The solution is proposed in the SaaS format that will help users to bring a system into commercial operation for all vehicle fleet almost instantly.
System deployment for optimization of routes "in clouds" happens quicker and to smaller costs that allows any transport company to get profit from the first day of use of the software product. Unlike a new cloud solution Department of logistics, the schedule systems of routes presented at the market depend on use of cartographic information (GIS) which quickly enough changes. After acquisition of "normal" applications for optimization of routes clients should pay extra for updates of cards while the cloud solution allows to receive all services and updates for one subscription fee constantly.
The system of automatic planning of routes Department of logistics allows to achieve almost unlimited scalability due to use of cloud servers of Amazon. The solution can be integrated in any Customer Relationship Management System which the client uses. Ready integration is developed for users 1C: Trade Management that will allow to bring a product into operation as fast as possible. The main emphasis at system development was put on simplicity of access and start to operation - the first results can be received already in a few minutes. API is developed for close integration with the accounting systems.
"Automatic data exchange between corporate applications is not only good form now at business process automation, but need as a main objective of any automation is reduction, a so-called "human factor" — the founder of web service Sergey Nevzorov commented. He added that the developed API which allows developers of other accounting systems to build in Department of logistics business processes of the enterprise easily is developed.
Development was conducted completely on money of founders, without external investments. The product was created completely "from scratch". On development 1.5 years and 1 million rubles left.
