2019: Expansion of opportunities through Cumulocity IoT

On July 23, 2019 Software AG announced agreement signature with Deutsche Telekom for rendering services in the field of Internet of Things (engl. Internet of things, or IoT) at the global level. The Deutsche Telekom company and its division T-Systems focused on corporate clients will improve the solution Cloud of Things by means of the Cumulocity IoT platform developed by specialists of Software AG.

Thanks to partnership in the field of "Internet of Things made in Germany", both companies will be able to become more active participants of the multi-billion world market of IoT-services. Partners will be able to expand the presence in the USA, Germany and in the European market due to consolidation of base of expert knowledge and available resources.

The T-Systems company intends to use the connected architecture of Cumulocity IoT as a basis for the integrated Cloud of Things IoT-platform.

Deutsche Telecom and T-Systems companies will be able to render services for much larger and diversified global market. The Cloud of Things platform will function in a multicloud environment that will allow to respond even better and more quickly to requirements of the customer and also will expand possibilities of the platform using a set of functional expansions, such as "stream analytics" (Streaming Analytics), microservices and protocols. These changes will allow to implement completely the capacity of the integrated platform and to master absolutely other segments of the market, such as industry of solutions for the smart home.
