2022: Platform Launch

A digital state platform for power grid management has been launched in Chuvashia, which became known at the end of December 2022. It began to be used in the "New City" of Cheboksary

According to the portal of the authorities of the Chuvash Republic, within the framework of the Digital Energy District project, an information system of a unified dispatch service for managing electric networks has been introduced.

Hypotheses will be tested at the pilot site, which will then be replicated to the rest of the power system. One of the areas of testing of electrical installations is notification in manual or automatic mode of consumers about planned or unscheduled outages. Also in the future - the ability to display the movement of service vehicles with teams of workers.

As explained by the Minister of Industry and power of Chuvashia Alexander Kondratyev, on the example of the "New City" a digital twin of its electric networks is being created, which allows us to obtain a metric of their work in the present moment.

"If a disconnect has occurred, it is immediately displayed here. That is, the work is already being built at a qualitatively different level. In dispatch centers, it takes 2.5 hours for a person to notice the shutdown and decide to call. And now dispatchers see a drop in tension in the area and can send a brigade immediately, "he said at the end of December 2022.

The system will provide remote online collection of information about the parameters of electric networks and automate the process of managing their work. It is assumed that the introduction of the system will increase the quality of the provision of services for the transfer of electric energy and ensure a reduction in the time for the restoration of power supply to consumers in case of technological failures of equipment, as well as the cost of operating electrical networks.[1]
