2019: Start of online store

On December 9, 2019 it became known of start of online store by Vkusvill grocery chain with goods and services of other companies. Marketplace received the name "Doverium", Vedomosti with reference to the head of the new project Yulia Litvinova writes.

Doverium is positioned as community of partners of Vkusvill, they allow discounts to clients of this network. Among them — toy store, clinics, the platform of declarations for mothers, the producer of a kidswear, etc. They can become the first participants of a marketplace.

The Vkusvill grocery chain started a marketplace

Yulia Litvinova says that any companies will be able to cooperate with the platform. The main task Doverium — to offer clients new services and goods which cannot be provided in offline shops of the retailer.

The company does not intend to take any commissions from partners. At the same time they will bear responsibility for the goods and services, and Vkusvill will only distribute information and to give references to their websites. The feature to order all services and goods directly via the website of network will in the future be added.

It is the first case when the Russian retailer opens a marketplace not only with goods, but also with services — the CEO of "Infoline-analytics" Mikhail Burmistrov claims.

According to the partner of Data Insight Fedor Virin, Vkusvill is going to monetize loyal audience, involving third-party sellers. The retailer goes the way banks which place such offers in personal accounts of clients. As the retailer only begins work in this direction, noticeable increase in traffic should not be expected.

As notes the edition, on the platform of a marketplace Tmall the network of Auchan hypermarkets has an online store. The full-fledged online store is developed by Intersection and network of O'key hypermarkets. Doverium will earn in December, 2019.^[1]
