On September 14, 2023, Beacon Biosignals announced the release of the Dreem 3S device, a special wearable sleep monitoring gadget with an electroencephalogram removal function. The novelty allows you to collect and analyze various data for the purpose of diagnosing and subsequent therapy of disorders of night sleep.

It is noted that sleep disorders affect millions of people around the world. Such disorders can be associated with a wide variety of conditions - from major depressive disorder to neurodegenerative diseases. Although night sleep disorders are often ignored, they can have a significant impact on quality of life and well-being during the daytime, as well as provoke the development of various ailments.

Dreem 3S

The Dreem 3S is made in the form of a headband and is intended for use at home. The gadget is equipped with 6 electrodes for removing the electroencephalogram and an accelerometer for measuring head movements and body position. The battery charge is enough to collect indicators for 24 hours. It is claimed that the device makes it possible to obtain clinical-level data, which can then be used to assess neurological and mental conditions.

Dreem 3S allows you to monitor sleep in the usual conditions for the patient, which allows you to get the most objective picture of the condition. Due to the absence of external superimposed sensors, the device does not constrain movement. The novelty has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The Dreem 3S solution complements Beacon Biosignals' machine learning platform for electroencephalography and polysomnography, enabling rapid analysis of large sets of clinical neurophysiological data.^[1]
