2024: Adding order moderation

The city travel ordering service Drivee has developed its own machine learning-based order moderation system. The system will allow you to recognize and classify downloadable content from users, which will help speed up the moderation process, as well as increase the efficiency of drivers in finding and selecting orders. Indels announced this on May 16, 2024.

Machine learning methods allow you to preemptively and in real time record incorrect avatars and names of passengers, as well as comments on orders. Thus, drivers collaborating with the service will be able to quickly find relevant orders. In addition, machine learning moderation will reduce the burden on the manual work of moderators, increase the coverage of moderated orders, reduce response time and generally improve the experience of using the service.

Order tape moderation technology was developed by the service team - Drivee Tech, which trained a number of ML models based on historical data and implemented in the application. To date, about 95% of avatars, 100% of names and 99% of comments are processed by machine learning methods.

We are constantly working on the development and improvement of the service, taking into account the comments of our users. Incorrect names and avatars, advertising slogans and inappropriate content slowed down the search for relevant orders for drivers and increased moderation time in manual processing. It was important for us to address this issue for driver comfort and faster order acceptance. In May 2024, we introduced the first stage of technology, which showed a significant increase in the efficiency of the moderation process - for example, in the order feed, the number of incorrect photos uploaded by passengers decreased by 71%. We plan to continue to develop the ML service and add new functionality, "said Taras Egorov, CTO Drivee.

In addition to moderating the order tape, on the basis of machine learning, the service team launched photo control to cars ensure greater safety of passengers. The service sends a photo request to drivers, and the machine learning method checks them, identification as well as the compliance transport of the means with passenger transportation. The use of the method made it possible to reduce the moderation load by half when checking the car.

2023: Service Launch

The inDrive taxi service has separated the Russian business into a new application called Drivee. In May 2023, it became available in the App Store and Google Play.

As a source familiar with the activities of inDrive told TASS, the Russian division of the company left the loop of the international ride-hailing service inDrive back in June 2022 and de facto began to develop independently, and in May 2023 the team of the Russian service decided to completely restart the business under the new name Drivee.

After downloading the Drivee application, you can transfer all your data from InDrive there. The agency's informant stressed that after the full launch of Drivee, travel orders through inDrive will become impossible. At the same time, the deadlines for the final termination of the work of the Russian unit by May 23, 2023 have not yet been indicated.

It is noted that the ability to independently offer a price for a trip and other old functions available to the client will remain in the new application. The interlocutor of the publication added that Drivee will temporarily refuse freight transportation and the services of craftsmen, paying all attention to the development of urban services in Russia. In addition, the team was expanded in the offices of Moscow and Yakutsk. Information about the business section was confirmed to the agency by an inDrive representative.

The developer of the Drivee application, according to the card, is Indels. From the data of the SPARK-Interfax system, it follows that since March 2023, Indels has owned 100% of the authorized capital of the inDrive legal entity in Russia, Softforming LLC.

According to the Drivee website, users can bid trips around the city or between cities, and you can also call a courier. When entering the application, Drivee offers to enter the phone number and get a verification code.^[1][2]
