2024: Product Launch

In Turkmenistan, in early September 2024, the state digital school education management system called E-mekdep was officially launched, which became available in all secondary schools in Ashgabat and Arkadag. This system, developed by the Innovation and Information Center of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, is a comprehensive solution for monitoring the educational process, providing access to information on school performance, lesson schedules and other important data.

According to ORIENT news, the E-mekdep platform allows teachers, parents and schoolchildren to receive information about the learning process in real time through a mobile application or SMS notifications. The system includes functions such as an electronic diary, an electronic journal, as well as a unique module for analyzing the personal development of the student. The implementation of the platform began in 2021 and has since been actively finalized. The full deployment of the system with the start of the new 2024-2025 school year should be an important step in the modernization of school education in Turkmenistan.

According to the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, in September 2024, active work is underway to expand the system to schools in other regions of the country. The developers assure that the E-mekdep system differs from its foreign counterparts thanks to built-in analysis tools that help not only monitor academic performance, but also contribute to the comprehensive development of students.

By the beginning of September 2024, the E-mekdep school management system is already actively used in the capital's schools, and its functionality continues to expand. In particular, plans are being discussed to refine the mobile application to make it more convenient and functional for users. The E-mekdep app is available for download on Google Play and the App Store, allowing schoolchildren and their parents to easily connect to the system.^[1]
