EMC Greenplum Chorus

Greenplum Chorus is a social network for researchers of Big Data.

Greenplum Chorus implements similar Facebook the instrument of social interaction for teams of researchers of data allowing to reuse data sets and to provide operational providing relevant analysis results of these data to business. Greenplum Chorus became not only "social", but also open. EMC represents the initiative of OpenChorus Initiative (openchorus.org) directed to acceleration of the innovation process and implementation of applications for joint work with data sets on the basis of social networks on the Greenplum Chorus platform. The source code Greenplum Chorus will become available according to the license open source in the second half of the year 2012. Updates of the project will be available on the website openchorus.org.

The ecosystem of partners of Greenplum became the important channel using which clients receive the solutions necessary for them for use of the analytical Greenplum tools with the available data sources. The deposit of a partner ecosystem Greenplum is not limited only to it is it also provides solutions which are integrated with the Chorus platform via rich API interfaces (for example, solutions of the partners of Alpine Data Labs and Squid Solutions participating in the program of early acquaintance), directly affecting productivity and efficiency of a team of researchers of data.
