EMC VMAX Service Provider (VMAX SP) is the platform developed especially for service providers, providing fast and cost-efficient acquisition and implementation of infrastructure for data storage for the purpose of support of cloud services less than in 4 hours. VMAX SP is developed based on the checked technologies of the VMAX system, the smartest, reliable and powerful platform of data storage in the world.

VMAX SP is delivered as the ready-made solution with different levels of provision of services (Quality of Service, QoS) - "bronze", "silver", "gold" and "platinum", the separated use offering the platform for and the service provider providing seamless API integration into any infrastructure. VMAX SP includes function of automatic preparation for work due to use of the VMAX SP Intelligence Engine technology complemented with the built-in function of cloning.

• The separated use and Intelligence Engine: The simple and reliable sentence of services of storage with the separated use and application of the best practices based on long-term experience of EMC in the field of storage systems included in the structure of own Intelligence Engine.

Service and support

Deliveries of VMAX SP in a limited number will begin in the III quarter 2012 for some partners of the Velocity Service Provider program. It is expected that the solution VMAX SP will become available to other clients in 2013.
