EVO: RAIL is hyper convergent infrastructure from VMware. Consists of the EVO software package: RAIL and the hardware from four nodes of 2U in size.
On August 25, 2014 the VMware company announced EVO: RAIL is the fastest way of creation and deployment of software-defined DPC.
The new device of hyper convergent infrastructure from VMware helps to create virtual machines in read minutes. Dell, EMC, Fujitsu, Inspur, NetOne and Supermicro are going to begin deliveries of VMware of EVO: RAIL in the second half of 2014.
