2022: Electric Vehicle Announcement

In September 2022, the EcoAvtoProf electric truck was presented, designed on the basis of the UAZ Profi off-road model. This is the development of SpetsAvtoEngineering, Sollers Engineering and ST Nizhegorodets.

The model is equipped with a synchronous electric unit with permanent magnets from suppliers from China. The squeeze force of the truck's electric motor will be 70 kW and 970 Nm, and the maximum power reaches 150 kW.

The engine is interlocked with a single-stage single-speed gearbox and is actually a single module with a liquid cooling jacket. Once every 50,000 km, the owners will have to go to the service with an uncharacteristic request for electric cars to "change the oil" - in a gearbox.

Modifications of the novelty for mass production are equipped with 40 or 80 kWh batteries, which provide a range of 150 and 300 kilometers. The assembly of the battery for such a car is organized on the SpetsAvtoEngineering conveyor, located in the Mosgormash technopark in the capital.

It will be possible to replenish the energy supply in four hours using a 22kW charger. This equipment is provided for the standard configuration of the model. Optionally, you can install a climatic installation.

Other characteristics of the electric truck - maximum speed, carrying capacity, etc. - have not yet been disclosed. It is known about the standard equipment of EcoAvtoProf that it includes a charger with a capacity of 22 kW (pictured below), which allows you to gain power supply 80% from the household power grid in 4 hours. A modern climate plant will be offered as an option.

The creators of the new electric car reported at its presentation that the EcoAvtoProf prototypes had already left for the tests necessary for certification. "Approval of the type of vehicle" for this "green" truck is planned to be obtained next spring.[1]
