EcoStruxure Security Expert

EcoStruxure Security Expert is integrated solution for security management of the building which implements functions of access control and a security alarm for creation of the protected environment.

EcoStruxure Building — the intellectual platform of management of the building based on IoT became a technology basis of the solutions Schneider Electric for buildings. EcoStruxure Building opens possibilities of joint work, has an open system architecture, allows developers and partners to interact with each other, to exchange data and to develop applications. In turn, EcoStruxure Building is addition to an open architecture of EcoStruxure from Schneider Electric with connection of a Plug and Play and support of IoT. EcoStruxure proposes complete solutions in six areas — power supply, power, IT, automation of buildings, mechanical engineering, production — for four final markets: construction, data processing centers, industry and infrastructure.

2020: Integration with RecFaces Id-Gate

On December 22, 2020 RecFaces announced that the Russian software product of biometric identification on the person for reliable access control on Id-Gate object is integrated with a system on security management of EcoStruxure Security Expert from Schneider Electric now. Read more here.

2017: Announcement

The Schneider Electric company, the world expert in management of energy and automation, provided on November 14, 2017 EcoStruxure Security Expert. The solution combines program and the hardware with the IP technology realizing integration of a security system and IT infrastructure. The solution integrates data from key components of a security system, including video surveillance, a security alarm, access control and management of alarm signals.

The Security Expert technology is also integrated with a management system for the building (Building Management System, BMS) SmartStruxure from Schneider Electric based on the software of StruxureWare Building Operation for more accurate decision making, quick response and effective operation of an object.

The data access about security of the building is provided using the simple interfaces in use developed both for workstations, and for web applications and mobile devices. The solution EcoStruxure Security Expert is suitable for buildings of different function and scale — from hospitals and hotels to data processing centers and large enterprises.

The solution EcoStruxure Security Expert allows to transfer the ciphered information between main systems of automation of buildings and security systems. For example, data of employees can be shared by a human resources personnel and security systems for automatic providing to new employees access to the corresponding zones on objects. Besides, security systems can warn BMS about that how many in the building of people that will allow to manage more effectively lighting, conditioning, ventilation and heating (HVAC) and also other systems of buildings. According to Schneider Electric, Security Expert is automatically integrated with third-party management systems for the building and security through web services, API and open protocols, such as SDK, Modbus and BACnet. The solution conforms to the international standards and requirements for security, including requirements of the Federal commission on communication of the USA (FCC), the European Union (CE), the Australian management of communication and media (ACMA), National Institute of standards and technologies (NIST) and the independent test and certified center Underwriters Laboratories in the USA.
