Biometric control systems of access on fingerprints from ekey purchased additional functions of the smart home. The Austrian company ekey biometric systems GmbH, works in the field of solutions of biometric control systems of access in Europe, announced in September, 2010 consolidation of efforts with leading manufacturer hardware and the software Crestron company, one of the largest system providers of the centralized and global management, control and information representation.

Thanks to integration with developments of Crestron, the ekey system will be able to be responsible not only for access to the premises, but also for management of the special commands allowing "remember" simple scanning of a fingerprint at an input to the house or office personal settings in it, for example, such as the room temperature, intensity of lighting, humidity parameters, etc.

The software module of Crestron SIMPL Windows of "ekey net 4.x v1.0.umc" can be integrated with network system of access control of ekey net. The second module "ekey home v1.0.umc" is intended for integration with autonomous system for houses and apartments of ekey home. The ekey UDP converter is necessary for connection to the Crestron system.

The software of Crestron for the systems of access ekey allows to equip with necessary functions all premises of an object of any degree of complexity. For example, one finger can provide access to an entrance door, another can turn on function of silent alarm (Silent Alarm), set a certain lighting, include reproduction of your favourite music tracks. Several copies of modules can manage the ekey scanners in 25 different places of the building.

Integration of the ekey systems into the equipment Crestron will allow to develop the individual, set-up solutions for each customer. It is enough to run a finger over the ekey scanner at an input to the premises that the door opened and in the house the special atmosphere "recovered".

ekey net 4.0

The version of ekey net 4.0 is offered in 3 options:

• ekey net business is the complete version intended for application on big projects with a possibility of an output in a SQL database for detailed reports;
• ekey net com is the version developed for integration into the third-party systems on the basis of the http and Wiegand protocols;
• ekey net light is the version including a set of basic functions and more available to the houses equipped at the level of high end and also the companies and small offices.

The network system of ekey net consists of scanners and devices managing them, each of which stores in memory up to 40 prints (series S), up to 200 prints (series M) and up to 2000 prints (series L). In case of frequent change of users or temporary visitors the hinged version of the ekey net scanner combined with the reader RFID of cards is provided.

For system management of ekey net the special program of administration is used. Its simple user interface allows to master completely for short term all basic functions: enter new users, user groups and temporary timeslots for an input. All ekey systems are based on work linearly - the thermal scanner which does not save an image of a fingerprint, transforming it to the unique biometric access code.
