NetSure - the new Emerson Network Power platform. It supports the modern developing network architectures, the innovative technologies which will represent a basis of future networks. Supply systems of a direct current, rectifiers, transformers and the accompanying components which will begin to enter the market since 2014 will be a part of the platform.

On January 23, 2014 the Emerson Network Power company provided the next generation of the platforms of a power supply of a direct current of NetSure. Systems and components of these platforms are specially created for decrease in operating costs and reliability augmentation both in a core, and at the access level of network.

Description

All systems are designed for support of different types of implementation and operation modes. They provide adaptation to the changing requirements of networks, the equipment and operating conditions.

The new NetSure platform is created on the basis of the available achievements of the company and will be the base for the advanced solutions suitable for implementation both in a core of network, and at the level of an access network in the field of the telecommunications and DPC networks applying a power supply of a direct current. The new systems provide unprecedented flexibility in terms of operation and profitability of network, adapting to new technologies and architecture which reduce operating and capital expenditure eventually.

NetSure 5100

NetSure 5100 – the first supply system of a direct current within the new platform enters the markets of the countries of Europe, the Middle East and Africa on January 21, 2014. The similar systems will be soon available in other markets.

The NetSure 5100 system is specially held for use on the access networks, provides more high density of power of the new platform, promoting reduction of the sizes of a system and the space occupied by it that allows to increase the volume of useful space as much as possible. In structure a system can be in itself from three to twelve eSure rectifiers on 2 KW. It provides efficiency in 96% and significant savings of energy even at low loading, by means of work in economy mode of energy consumption. Resistance to environmental conditions, the optimized architecture, means of intellectual monitoring and management do this fault-free system of a direct current of even more reliable.

NetSure 5100 is equipped with standard control block or, as an additional option, advanced abilities to manage loading. Using the web browser and several gateways it is possible to perform remote monitoring and software updating that provides fast system deployment, its updating and service.

2014: NetSure 7100 и 8100

On June 11, 2014 the Emerson Network Power company, Emerson business division, announced release of a new line of direct current systems of NetSure intended for work as a part of basic switching nodes of network.

NetSure 7100

The multisection NetSure 7100 and 8100 systems, along with autonomous systems of NetSure 7100 and also end-to-end systems of a power supply of an alternating and direct current expand a line of platforms of a power supply of a direct current of Emerson NetSure of new generation.

NetSure 8100

The new controller as a part of these systems provides intellectual load control (Intelligent Load Management) and advance warning of possible overloads, increasing thereby the level of reliability of basic switching nodes of network. By means of the Intelligent Load Management system it is possible to monitor a situation and to take measures on the basis of specific information on each loading at the enterprise. At the same time changes in loading are detected instantly, allowing to prevent possible failures.

Besides, the new controller can make the card of electricity consumption that will allow to optimize expenses on cooling. For fast installation and setup of the NetSure 7100 and 8100 systems in the controller the new program master of installation is implemented.

The multisection NetSure 7100 and NetSure 8100 systems are intended for central stations of an average and large scale which needs a possibility of expansion. These models are expected such operating conditions when frequent change of loading requires access to many blocks of power distribution and standby systems in close proximity to loading.

The autonomous system of a power supply of a direct current of NetSure 7100 is developed for small central stations which need efficiency, reliability of power supply and the compact sizes. This system can be delivered with the built-in battery of back supply or in a complete set for ensuring a power supply according to scheme A + B in one cabinet.

Rectifiers and inverters are composition of NetSure 7100, at the same time a system is developed for small central telecommunication stations and DPC in which a power supply is used by both a variable, and direct current. The possibility of service of the loadings fed by both a variable, and direct current becomes especially relevant in connection with merge telecommunication and IT services.

The NetSure systems provide cabinet efficiency at the level of 99.7% in a chain of the output of the rectifier to an exit of a distribution bypass, and the maximum efficiency on a power supply at the same time is 96.2%. The high efficiency of a system, along with a possibility of drawing up the card of the consumed loading, significantly cuts down expenses on the electric power. Modular scalable construction allows to carry out different works on systems without their shutdown that reduces risk of emergence of failures during the updating or accumulation of power.

2014: Emerson NetSure 9500

On July 14, 2014 the Emerson Network Power company announced release of an electric power supply system of a direct current of NetSure 9500 with operating voltage of 400 V intended for telecommunication companies, DPC and commercial buildings. The 120 kW NetSure 9500 system will fill up a line of solutions of power supply of a direct current with a rated voltage of 400 V from Emerson company.

Emerson NetSure 9500

The new supply system is developed on the basis of the architecture used in the 30 kW NetSure 4015 system (including the eSure rectifiers with a power of 15 kW patented by Emerson), and is the most powerful in a line. Modular construction of a system allows to use different configurations of deployment and to execute scaling to avoid idle time of capacities and working areas.

A system includes power module with sections for conversion of power, management and power distribution, the module for expanded load distribution and the accumulator cabinet supporting one group of VRLA batteries (lead-acid with valve regulation). Failsafe construction of a system with hot swap of rectifiers and controls reduces a downtime. NetSure 9500 represents an alternative to traditional power supply systems of a direct current with tension of 48 V in telecom industry and also to AC UPS systems in DPC. It is suitable also for commercial buildings where microdirect current mains which integrate the distributed power sources are more and more widely applied. Transition from voltage of 48 V to 400 V of a direct current means reduction of current intensity for telecom operators and, respectively, amount of the copper necessary for its transfer that allows to reduce costs on cables and installation to 80%. Advantage to DPC consists in simplification of a supply circuit in which not only the number of conversions, but also number of potential points of failure is reduced.
