Energy Box EC2004

Aten Energy Box EC2004 is the latest solution in the field of intellectual energy management from NRGence™ line – ATEN company. EC2004 allows to control power supply of devices in real time and helps to manage energy consumption of the IT equipment of data centers effectively.

The module EC2004 Energy Box has 4 Energy Sensor ports (2 current sensors, 2 sensors of current/tension) for connection of four modules Energy PDU, 4 Environment Sensor ports and 1 4-pinovy Rack Door Sensor for connection of sensors of monitoring of the external environment and opening of a door. The device provides control of energy consumption of each connected module Energy PDU, sending notifications about illegal access to server cabinets and also allows to keep track of state of environment, providing information on temperature, humidity and differential pressures from different places of a data processing center.

For bigger convenience of control and service of network structures of EC2004 allows to display and browse data on energy consumption and operating conditions in real time on a rack or far off, providing access to system magazines and sending warnings of exceeding of threshold values and also the events requiring attention of the administrator. The module EC2004 is the self-contained unit with support of monitoring on IP, control of which is exercised via the web interface or via the software of ATEN eco Sensors.

Safety is ensured by 128-bit SSL enciphering and the configured politicians of accounts for management of users. Remote identification supports RADIUS and additional control interfaces, including HTTP, HTTPS and SNMP v1&v2&v3 (reading, record, a trap). Notifications on events are traced using Syslog/SMTP/SNMP and sound signals providing the local and remote notification in real time.

When using in combination with ATEN Energy PDU blocks * and the software of eco Sensors Energy Management Software * EC2004 allows to make effectively remote update of systems, providing the proper level of monitoring and protection.
