2022: Product Announcement
On December 28, 2022, Movano Health introduced the Evie wearable device, which can replace the traditional fitness tracker. The novelty has expanded functionality in terms of tracking vital signs of the body.
The gadget is designed specifically for representatives of the beautiful half of humanity. Built-in sensors allow you to track a wide range of parameters: changes in heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), respiratory rate, body temperature, sleep phases and duration, as well as activity readings (number of steps taken, calories spent, etc.). In addition, the device controls the menstrual cycle and ovulation, as well as determines mood.
The developers paid special attention to the software part. The collected data is transferred to a mobile application, where they are not just translated into graphs and diagrams, but are transformed into useful recommendations that will help improve the quality of life and rest. For example, ring owners will be able to better understand the relationship between sleep, activity and menstrual cycle.
It is noted that Evie meets the standards for medical devices in terms of the accuracy of obtaining data on heart rate and SpO2. And this means that the information collected can be used by medical staff, for example, to detect arrhythmia or hypoxia. The novelty will be shown at the CES consumer electronics show in Las Vegas in January 2023. The device will go on sale for less than $300 (no additional monthly service fee will be charged). Movano Health will offer the gadget in three color options and in various sizes, and the open ring design will provide a comfortable fit.[1]
