2024: Product Announcement
At the end of March 2024, the Russian company EvoCargo presented a highly automated electric truck Evocargo N1. It has a carrying capacity of 2 tons and a range of up to 200 km.
According to the developers, the vehicle is equipped with a fifth generation autopilot system, a distinctive feature of which is the lack of a cab in the traditional sense - there is no place for a driver, steering wheel and seat. The car can be charged from a regular 220W household outlet during loading and unloading.
The machine has a complex multisensory perception system built on the basis of modern machine learning algorithms. This allows the truck to accurately determine its own position in space, plan for the safest possible speed and predict movement taking into account the environment, EvoCargo said in a statement.
In the future, the Evocargo N1 model will receive lithium-ion batteries from the Rosatom business area, which produces power storage systems. The truck is offered to customers as part of the Robots-as-a-Service service model, when the entire cargo transportation process, including machine maintenance, is transferred to the supplier. In addition, autonomous logistics can reduce fleet maintenance costs by up to 30%, depending on the number of vehicles implemented. By the end of March 2024, these services are used by Wildberries, Sweet Life, Gazpromneft-Supply, RusClimat, Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant, Marvel-Logistics, Sibur, etc.
The use of such a solution as EvoCargo allows us to make our cities more environmentally friendly, sustainable and modern, "said Iya Gordeeva, chairman of the Association for the Development of Electric, Unmanned and Connected Transport and Infrastructure. |
